Maarten D'hoop (1978) is drawn to images that resist easy interpretation. Starting from photography, his practice evolved into digital constructions where fragments of reality are layered and reassembled. Strategy meets coincidence; control gives way to serendipity.

Somewhere between abstraction and figuration, his work opens a space where narratives emerge — never fixed, always shaped by the viewer’s imagination.
